Elementary Qrchestra The Elementary Orchestra under the direction of Miss Dorothy Dale has made marked improvement since the beginning of the year. It is 7 la1'ger and better balanced and every member is becoming mo1'e proficient in playing in time and in tune. There are eighteen members enrolled this year, which snows that there is an increased interest in orchestral work. Most of the members will be admitted to the advanced orchestra or to the band next year. This is the second year our school has been able to maintain two orchestras. At the first of each year the elementary orchestra has to start practically at the beginning because it is almost entirely composed of new members. The Student Body was entertained with several selections by the ele- mentary group during the yeai'. The music studied is varied in character. Egyptian, gypsy, and descriptive music has proved to be the most popular with the novices. Page S7 I

N ora, the maid The Senior class of 1930 presented Her Husband's Wife, a three act comedy by A. E. Thomas, on February 7. The cast was well chosen and directed by Miss Helen Ford, dramatics coach. The heroine believes she has not long to live and picks out her hus- band's future wife. Her uncle tries to aid her and many comical situations arise when she becomes jealous of Miss Ladew, her husbandls wife. For a time everyone is in doubt as to whether she can win him back or not. Her health improves as her husband becomes more enamored by Miss La- dew. The Rondolph family take a hand in the affair and straighten out the tangle to the satisfaction of everyone. Page S9 I
