Girls' Soccer Div. ll Chomps The girls' soccer seoson storted out eorly with o gome ogoinst E.S.D. the doy ofter the first proctice. Despite the cold weother ond injuries the teom completed the seoson successfully, becoming the Division ll chompion in the S.P.C. competition. Under the leodership of Cooch Mory Stouf- fer ond Coptoin Cothy Bernell, the teom completed the seoson with on 11-7-2 record. A totol of forty-two gools were scored in the twenty gomes ployed which wos double the omount scored on goolie, Cothy Bernell. The high point scorers of the seoson were Dorlo Thornton with sixteen, Beth Hollond with thirteen, followed by Renee Rimmer with four ond Cothy Bernell with three. Dorlo Thornton scored two hot tricks ond Beth Hollond scored one. ln S.P.C. Cothy Bernell ond Dorlo Thorn- ton were nomed First Teom All- Conferenceg Melisso Miteff ond Ashley Roodhouse were nomed Second Teom All-Conference, ond Beth Hollond, Eleonor Mouze ond Soroh Medory received Honoroble Mention, In T.l.S.C., First Teom All Conference Awords went to Cothy Bernell, Melisso Miteff, ond Renee Rimmer, Second Teom owords went to Soroh Steves ond Koy Chombers with Honoroble Men- tion going to Beth Hollond.
