That's how you get a national award. The 1986 AWARD OF MERIT IN STATION OPERATION was presented to WBCL at the National Religious Broadcasters 45rd Annual Convention in Washington, D.C. in February. Char Binkley, WBCL's General Manager accepted the award to the station at a Religious Broadcasters' luncheon in the nation's capital. Ofthe 1,100 organizations belonging to this national association, WBCL was one of the four that received a Merit award.
