DR. FRANCES SIMPSON, CHAIRMAN CHRI TIAN EDUCATIC c'They interest usf' .. . we must interest them. How? The task of the Christian Education Department is to prepare students to so teach the Word of Cod that pupils Qchildren, youth, and adultsj will give attention and respond to Truth. The method used may be puppets or other visuals, buzz groups or other discussion methods. The goal is ever the same-changed lives-to so teach that men may accept Christ as Savior and Lord of life. The vocational purpose of the department is: to prepare Chris- tian education directors, childrenjs or youth workersg to contribute to the preparation of pastors and missionaries 5 to provide basic instruction for those who will be lay leaders in the church. The ultimate goal is Christ Pre-eminent in all things-mes- sage and methods of teaching. THEY interest us, but can WE interest them? Maybe-with a few visuals, like PUP- PETS! ! Why, even COLLEGE students like puppets!!
