05613 Boboy and Babay The 1973 Honor Club of the Year, Spanish Honor Society, was again among the best in the school in 1974. Involved in all phases of student life, the Society selected the most spirited class, made basketball pro- grams and awarded a scholarship at the year's end. Hours of work by members with paints and paper produced a homecoming float which shared first prize honors for clubs in the parade. Coop- erative efforts were also a part of the fund-raising projects of the only club with a bear for a sponsor, Mrs. Mary Iones. Money raised from the sale of Viking bal- loons, decals, and baked goods helped to send twenty stu- dents to the state Spanish convention in St. Petersburg. 82!Spanish Honor Society President Lorie Mclntosh stirs Cougar stew a'la Susie McDavid.
