S I f c ICC Honors Club Mike Yemf' The main goals of ICC are to coordinate all club activities, avoid conflicts, settle disputes among clubs, provide for the scheduling of club meetings, charter school clubs and other organizations, provide a forum for free discussion, and to lend leadership and direction to the clubs and their members. ICC sponsors an- nually the Club-of- the-Year Award, presented to the club that has done their best for the school and community dur- ing the school year. Mr. Urquhart is always ready to lend a helping hand. We're glad you could make it after all! Surfing club applies for member- ship to ICC.

Sfmt Council 177210701165 Lunch Through the efforts of the Student Coun- cil in one of its most productive years, lunchtime became a more enjoyable and relaxing experience with the introduction of a la carte lunches, cokes and music. A Student Information Center replaced the bookroom, sharing its area with a supply store which was opened to meet class- room needs for pupils. The hard-working Council also spon- sored a successful Dance Marathon at the year's beginning, and sold slaves-body Q ..fa . - j We a - -Q. Q . , . The Student Council District One Work- shop was hosted in October, and repre- sentatives from Fort Walton Beach High attended the District and State conven- tions. These many projects of the Student Coun- cil were aimed to bridge communica- tions between the Student body and ad- ministration, and to present students' feel- ings and ideas. More- over, the Council was able to unify and di- rect a harmonious Vi- king community. Cood morning, everyone! Let's all stand up and s-t-r-e-t-c-h . . . that's better! The premature gray on Mary Cockerill's head was the result of being editor of the 1974 Volhollo. The excellence of the publication was also largely due to her po- sition as editor. With the advice of Ms. Marilyn Lambert and the labor of an unorganized but de- voted staff, the larg- est yearbook in the school's history was at last completed and shipped. Work began in Iune with the selling of ads and continued with meetings throughout the summer, and par- ticipation in a re- Iackie Brunnworth awaits divine aid. The group spent weekends and nights during the coldest days of Feb- ruary in the heatless school, slaving over final layouts, printing up the last negatives and warming their hands over cups of hot chocolate to fin- ish sections on time, then came in the next day to begin a new portion. The product made the work worthwhile. Volhollo reflects the aspirations and trials of individuals seeking their places in life. Moreover, it ex- presses the promise of a living, growing, moving Viking kin- ship.
