Appelifef Alblbemecf With Hof, Balanced Lzmcloey When stomachs started rumbling, the students' best friends seemed to be the ladies working in the cafeteria. They came early each morning to prepare the lunches that were served in three shifts between 10:40 and 12:00. They also put in much time planning the most nutritious and tasty meals possible. The school's custodians, known as the men in red , were responsible for the attractive appear- ance of our school. Fighting difficulties such as trash-filled restrooms and math problems worked out on the walls, Mr. Pogue and Mr. Mittler kept the school in a condition that Vi- kings could take pride in. 9 pgp' Z hgh .
