One gf az Kimi With the childhood dreams of leading an exotic life and career and later actually undertaking the study of engineering, who would have ex- pected Mr. C.F. Reynolds to pursue a career in teaching? Yet that is exactly what happened. As a college freshman, Mr. Reynolds actually planned to be- come an engineer. It was not until he became a sophomore though, that Mr. Reynolds decided to transfer to the field of education. Since that time Mr. Reynolds has not only taught, but is presently serving as one of Oka- loosa Countyls most excellent principals. With the respect and admiration of students and teachers alike, Mr. Reynolds hoped only to do the best job possible serving Fort Walton Beach High. True Dedication Assistant Principals Mr. May and Mr. Prine, along with Ms. Merchant, Dean of Women, once again attended to the problems and needs of the students of Fort Walton Beach High. The time consuming jobs such as handling lock- ers, books, absentees, Withdrawals, recruiting teachers to sell and collect tickets at football and basketball games, and striving to maintain a sensible means of dress and behavior within the student body, often go unrecognized, but are nonetheless an essential part of the adminstra- tor's busy schedule. As Dean of Women, Ms. Merchant has an important role in handling student affairs. Mr. May seems to maintain a cheerful smile, no matter how busy the day is. Mr. Prine stands tall, ready to face any problem which may arise. Administrators!37
