Of?-67256, De eme, Fbing Colm The Fort Walton Beach Vi- kings opened the 1973 football season with a 34-0 victory over the Rutherford Rams. It was the Vikings' third straight opening win and all three have been shutouts. After a listless first quarter, the Viking offense began to find itself and with 8 minutes remaining, Bobby Mikel took a Ron Enclade pass and splashed his way 33 yards for the score. Enclade added the PAT making the score 7-0. Mike Churillo got the first third quarter score by sprint- ing 24 yards and Enclade added the PAT. After the Vi- king defense gave the Vikings another of four turnovers for the night, on a fumble recov- ery by Warren Gould, Ron En- clade climaxed a 5 play drive by skirting his left side for the 20th point. Enclade then missed his only PAT of the game. ln the fourth quarter, a Kim Duncan interception gave the Viking offense another oppor- tunity and again the offense retaliated as Churillo ran 4 yards for a TD and Enclade converted for a 27-0 margin. After the defense forced an- other Ram turnover at the Ram 40, it took the offense only 4 plays before Enclade took a handoff from McDaniel and went left tackle for the fi- nal TD of the game. He then added the PAT, making the fi- nal score 34-0. 126!Rutherford Tony D t1,hut2,hut3.., block V uarterback Ronnie Enclade runs for V dage. y Durham collects an easy point Escambia defender attempts to ' g kick. urham turns on the spec Duncan escapes an Escamb defend
