Thirsty? The purpose of the Girls' League is to promote the general interests of the girls, and to furnish an opportunity to develop leadership through school activities. This years Girls' League, under the leadership of President Louanna Lynch and adviser Mrs. Virginia Salvador, sponsored the Girls' League Mix, Santa Snap, Tolo Dance, and the Big Sister program which is designed to help all new girls .Lf ,Mir become acquainted with Fort Vancouver. i l A --f... Monkees? All boys belong to Boys' League. Its purpose is to guide boys in social and vocational fields. To further this aim, President Tad Suckling and adviser Mr. James Van Hoose worked many long hours. The activities of the Boys' League included the Get-Acquainted Dance , which welcomed incoming sophomores and new students, Red and White Day , the White Christmas Ball, and Dad's Night, where dads were entertained by other dads and sons. The Boys' League also had an orientation for incoming sophomores. Boys may also borrow small sums of money from the Boys' League Loan Fund. Now for a little soft shoe Let's twist again . , . get Acquainfcd Dance
