QUEEN PAT I REIGNS OVER LOYAL SUBJECTS CO-CAPTAIN CHUCK CHRONIS CROWNS QUEEN PAT I Highlighting the annual Homecoming fes- tivities was the traditional crowning of Queen Pat l, by Chuck Chronis, co-captain of the Trapper football team, at Shower of Stars , the Homcoming Dance sponsored by G. A. A. Sparks and Fire was the theme of the Homecoming Rally, sponsored by the Sopho- more Class, and held on the night of September 27. Noisemakers, pep, the in- troduction of our coach, Chuck Furno, and speeches by co-captains, Gordon Upkes and Chuck Chronis, made the evening an eventful one. Former princesses, football coaches and VHS students gave short speeches offering sincere hopes for good luck at the game during the Homecoming assembly. Defeating Longview by the score of 24- 19, the introduction of the Queen and Court, helped to round out the day's activities dur- ing the half-time of the game.
