To develop agriculture, leadership, character, and citizenship is the primary purpose of the F.F.A., Cl na- tional organization. The Make-Up Club assisted with the make-up of school plays and assemblies and learned helpful tech- niques. FRENCH CLUB Joy Hagensen, Brenda Dietrich, Judy Johnson, Liisa Komonen, Miss Hall, Noel Dorman, Carol Lapsley, Ted Bauman, Eleanor Hungate, Jim Swarner. AUM .r 3 it I--me Sing, To promote an understanding of French customs, increase the student's knowledge of the language and to give its members a chance to use the French language, are the three aims of this club.

KW FUTURE HOMEMAKERS Upper Left: These girls meet regularly to learn more about homemaking. Various mem- bers of the F.H.A. attended the Regional Con- ference and worked on homemaking proiects. FUTURE NURSES Upper Right: Touring hospitals, see movies, hearing various speakers, and helping out in the hospitals throughout the city were the activ- ities of this year's Future Nurses Club. LIBRARIANS Middle: To provide adequate library serv- ice for the school and to encourage students to use the library material were the two main goals of this year's club. Members attended the Book Festival, had book charts and reviews by librar- ians, and organized displays and exhibits for the library. TRAPPER TALKERS Bottom: Working for the development of better speaking habits, a better speech pro- gram, and more interest in speech activities, the Trapper Talkers held meetings to practice these goals and attended various debate tourna- ments. Serving Fort Vancouver High School, the Vancouver community, and helping to promote social activities were the main obiectives of the Tawanka Club. This year's activities included a camping trip, a party and a scav- enger hunt. Members sold tickets at all home basket- ball and football games. Organized to promte worldwide friendship through better knowledge and under- standing of all people, the International Relations Club seeks to accomplish these things in ways such as movies, speakers and tape recordings.
