Outstanding participants in the Meet were: A. Ree Hurd, sophomore, gave the team needed points in winning the High Jump. Ree also excelled in the Long Jump, 110 yds., Hurdles, and 440 yd. Relay. Yvonne Pat Reeves received the Most Valuable Participant in recording records in the Long Jump and Disars throw. Pat, also gave valuable contribution in 100 yd. and 220 yd. Dashes. Pat, a Senior, will be thoroughly missed. Freshmen, Essie Holt, Carrie Groomes, Andrea Miasner, Viv- ian Harris and Jocelyn Farrar made outstanding contributions to the Team's winning efforts. Sophomores, Sharon Williams and Annette Williamson per- formance in Distance Running events assisted in giving the team most needed points in the race. Junior, Leotra Jackson unable to compete in the State per- formed well in other meets. Dorothy Willis gave substantial as- sistance in the Field Events.
