THE FVHS KEY CLUB PRESENTS . . . FOREWORD This is the story of a year at Fort Valley High School—a story told in pictures and words to .per- petuate the memories of 1964- 1965. It is the sincere wish of the yearbook staff that VALLIHI ’65 will, throughout the coming years, afford pleasant memories to each and every member of the student body, the faculty, and the admin- istration. Editors 1 Miss Thelma Wilson IN APPRECIATION In every institution of learn- ing there inevitably exists at least one member of the faculty who has placed the school and the people within it first and above all things. Little can be said concerning these people, for their untiring devotion to their work and their patience with the myriad of students who pass before them in their years of service are inexplicable. No greater thanks could be offered to such persons than the simple gratitude of a student; yet, there comes a time when a mere “Thank You” for years of dedicated service seems totally inadequate. We, the members of the Fort Valley High School Key Club, have chosen such a per- son to whom to dedicate the 1965 edition of Vallihi. Her interest in her students and her eagerness to help them have endeared her to all who have come under her influence. It is, therefore, with a great sense of pride and with much affection that we dedicate Vallihi ’65 to MISS THELMA WILSON in her last year of active service at Fort Val- ley High. The Fort Valley High student body demonstrates the “life” that is always prevalent at any school function—Go! Green! Above:.
