Blessed with power and a deep desire to win. the FVHS “11” astounded everyone by totaling up 287 points while allowing their opponents only 34 points. This desire to win, combined with good coaching as well as above average team spirit made possible such a rewarding year. The crowning achievement of this year’s team was obtaining the title of ’‘State Champs, due to the outstand- ing work of all the boys. We feel sure that this honor has never before fallen to a more worthy group of young men. 23
