Mr. Ken McAllister - Principal Mrs. Jean Faulkenberry Mr. McAllister, as principal of the Fort Stockton High School, has the responsibility for maintaining proper staff relations. As such, he assumes the responsibility for interviewing applicants for high school positions and consults with the superintendent on the qualifications of the instructional personnel under consideration for appointment; maintains programs for supervision and inservice training of teachers for the purpose of improving the instruction in his school; maintains pupil welfare, desirable school-pupil and school-community relationships; coordinates the activities of his school with the activities of the other schools in the system, and promotes among his staff a better understanding of the problems and policies of the school system. His duties range from confidant adviser to referee and M. C. on the High School Bowl-all of which he does with equal grace and enthusiasm. Sort Stockton Migh School 3acuity School days, School days. Dear old golden rule days.....” How familiar those words are to us, But what is a school without its faculty; what are students without their teachers? The Fort Stockton High School faculty is one we should be very proud of. They not only spend five hours a day trying to pound knowledge into our heads, but also spend many evenings grading papers, chaperoning bus trips or sponsoring extra-curricular activities. This goes on for nine months, and during the summer those who are fortunate enough to obtain fellowships attend school, while the others endeavor to increase their teaching ability on their own. As the years pass, we, the students, will realize how deeply indebted we are to those who have spent their lives endeavoring to help make the world a better place in which to live by producing young people who will be able to take the place of today's leaders.
