The m'embership.is limited to twenty, but the alumni members are eligible for parts in .1 , til? n1ajor,.production of the yearg Regular weekly meetings are held on VVednesday noon in the school cafeteria. Soeiial iaieaings are held once a month at the homes of the Various members. f .Each year the club has for its projeets the presentation of a Christmas pro-' gram, and a play in a downtown theatre. As the Christmas program this year, the one act play, The Loveliest Thing, was given before both the High School and junior College assemblies. . Un April Sth and 9th the annual 'Thespian play, 'Smilin' Through,', was given at the Liberty Theatre. I - -1.---..--. THE GIRLS' PEP CLUB The Girls' Pep Club of the Junior College was organized September 1928 under the sponsorship of J. W. Christian. ,Its purpose is to create a greater pep and enthusiasm for athletics in the Junior College and to lead in the organization of athletic activities and interests, in cooperation wth the teams and the student body as a whole, As this was the first year of the club's existence, all girls of the college who so alc- sired, were admitted to membership. The club remained active only through the foot- ball season. During this time it sold refreshments at the High School football guincs in order to assist the High School Pep Club in the joint High School and .Iunior Col- lege Football Banquet.
