AFTER FIFTY YEARS Mrs. Conover registers new students. School spirit plays a great part in the lives of the Fort Myers High School stu- dents. This spirit is shown hy the rousing support ot the athletic program and the eager participation in all school activities. Being a student in one ot the best high schools in the country is a fact that is ap- preciated and valued 1) the students of MHS. Many students willingly give up their time for projects to better the school. The boys and girls are always ready to help new pupils or to offer a cheerful word. There is also a strong tradition ol cooperation and a friendK- attitude be- tween faculty and students, even though the school is much larger now than in the early days. This congenial atmosphere still exists between the two. This points out the efforts of both to work together smoothK- and efficienth
