AFTER FIFTY YEARS These qualities have always been a part ot Fort Myers High School. Whenever a fomier student returns, a parent comes to visit, or an ' other visitor arrives at school, he is received and treated graciously by the office staff, facultx ' , and student body. This welcome is accompanied by a friend- ly, informative conversation and, if desir- ed, a courteous tour of our congenial cam- pus. While all this has the air of Southern hospitality, no visitor can mistake the pur- pose of this institution-learning. . s a visi- tor passes by the classrooms he observes the sincerity of the students and he can readily see their eagerness to gain the knowledge dispensed b - the teachers. The stud) ' halls are filled with quiet intensity as pupils prepare homework and study lessons. After classes, instructors are al- ways ready to answer additional questions put to them by the students.
