Behind us lies the course, its hard- dill' HE ships overcome: before us rises the goal, bright with reward. It has been 7 Q a noble race, with much jolly companionship brightening the toil. 1 It's strange what a good time we had. We thought it was all hard 'jp X lb work then, but now it's all rainbow-colored. On looking backward, we 5 'Q' catch glimpses of things we shall never forget-our Sophomore diet of ,T angle salads and bits of a certain pi, which was so generously portioned A W among us, the famous Bridge of Caesar over which we must pass without iq fail, As Juniors, how we gathered and boarded our funds to give the M S A traditional banquet to the Seniors! And how blissfully we struggled with ax W the tough birds from Long Island! i A So at last we are Seniors! The goal is just ahead, and when we feel 3 D N we shall never again travel along together or lean on the splendid help of W R our sponsor, Miss Long, it is with regret that we pass toward the goal. ? qi We've put on sales and rushed a booth at the fair. Our plays have gone aw L M over with huge success, We hardly realized how dramatic we were. Now m 4 A that we have reached the goal we find that it isn't the real goal at all, but N ill S only a mile-post and bright before us stretches the broader track, shining D, H with promise. -D. E.
