Sponsor - Alex Rogers Class Sponsor - Jan Stokes, Audrey Davis Spirit of '76 lives on, the Senior Class of '76 are as proud as can be that they will be graduating as the Bicentennial Class. This year the Seniors voted their colors as being: Red, White and Blue; Flower - Red, White and Blue Carnation; Song - Free as a Bird; Motto - I expect to pass through this life but once, If therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, and not defer or neglect it, as I shall not pass this way again. William Penn This year the seniors won first prize in the Homecoming Parade with a float decorated in five Bicentennial figures in great history. They also sponsored a page in the annual. With all the excitement of this year, the members of the class made a new and wonderful friend; Doris Olivari from Chile . . . their own exchange student. Everyone is sad at the departure of Doris to go home to Chile, but she will always be a special feeling in every student’s heart. 22
