The faculty chose the students as all-around Seniors, taking into consideration their scholastic abilities, extra- curricular activities and character.

CLASS OF 1976 As those who reached such high and honorable goals in 1776, we the bicentennial class of 1976 feel we have reached our goal of graduation with honor and true spirit of '76. As we leave behind this building where we have grown in knowledge and stature . . . the teachers who by giving a pan of themselves have become a pan of our lives . . . the many people who have worked to make each day a profitable learning experience . . . and the many close friends in undergraduate classes who have helped fill our years here with pleasure and excitement . . .
