On her 200th birthday the United States of America has a lot of things to be proud of. America has had quite a history, from Columbus and the Indians to the astronauts landing on the moon. And even though America has suffered through many wars and hard times during her history, she is still here as great as ever. But times are changing and hopefully the best of everything is still ahead. New ideas are here and there are more ideas still unthought of, yet to come. So look up America. You’ve had a good 200 years, and you still have your future ahead of you. 5

Over the past 200 years many men have fought and died for their beliefs in the United States of America. We. the citizens of America, must continue this fight in order to better our country. Everyday when people recite their allegiance to this country, they pledge to the flag and to the republic it represents. People pledge to the ideal of liberty and justice for all. Citizens must strive to maintain this liberty that so many people have fought for. The American people must have the Spirit of '76 and must fight for the Red, White and Blue all the way. 7
