Winners Announced at Half-time At the Homecoming halftime that evening the trophies for the first and second place winners were awarded. Mr. Paige accepted the large trophy to be kept in the school for use in future Homecoming Parades. Then it was announced that the Annual Staff had submitted the prize-winning float. This trophy was presented to Barbara Stanford, editor. Second place went to River- side. Mrs. Ronnie Mosley accepted the trophy. Al- though no prize was given, the Library Club received Honorable Mention. The rest of the clubs that submitted floats, while slightly disappointed, went away with plans for the winning float in next year's Homecoming Parade. 2nd Place RIVERSIDE SCHOOL 1st Place ANNUAL STAFF

Disney World, Opening The parade began on schedule, and those who had a part in planning it breathed a sigh of relef. As the procession wound along its route, the faces of many Disney Characters smiled at the onlookers. It seemed that all the preparation and work that had gone into the parade had been worth it. When the judging was finally completed each partici- pant left thinking about halftime at that night's game when the prizes would be awarded and the floats would again be dis- played.
