Mr. Ralph Moore, who has a B.S. degree from Erskine College, is the Area Physical Education Director, Area Health and Safety Director, Visitation Teacher, and head basketball coach for Fort Meade High School. In his spare time, Mr. Moore enjoys all sport activities, fishing, and reading. He is also director of the Fort Meade Teen Center Another one of the newest additions to our faculty is Mrs. Evelyn Paris, who also came to Fort Meade High after Christ- mas vacation. Mrs. Paris has a B. A. from Florida State Uni- versity and teaches eighth grade English. She enjoys garden- ing, swimming, reading, and traveling. Mr. Alex Rogers is the Driver Education teacher at Fort Meade. He has an A.S. from South Georgia College and a B.S. from Georgia Southern College. Mr. Rogers is an eighth grade sponsor and coaches seventh grade and eighth grade football and basketball. He enjoys playing tennis and golf in his free time. Mr. Herbert Roland teaches Biology and eighth grade General Science. He received a B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and mechanics. 25

Mr. R. E. Hall, who teaches mathematics is a new addition to our school this year. He has a B. S. in Agricul- tural Engineering from the University of Florida and had at- tended the University of South Florida. Mr. Hall is a sponsor of the Junior National Honor Society and enjoys auto repair- ing, hunting, and fishing. Mr. Carl Griffith, Junior Class Sponsor and Rocket Club Sponsor, teaches chemistry, physics, Earth Space Science, and ninth grade General Science. He has a B.S. A. from the University of Florida and had done graduate work at Tennessee Technilogical University. Mr. Griffith enjoys working with cattle. Another new addition to our faculty this year is Mr. David Huddleston who teaches in the Math Department. Mr. Huddleston has a B. S. in Business Administration. He is an eleventh grade sponsor and spends his free time fishing. One of the newest additions to our faculty is Miss Betty Johnson, who started teaching after Christmas vacation. Miss Johnson has a Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida and teaches seventh grade English and eighth grade science. In her spare time, she enjoys watching basketball games, cooking, sewing, and swimming. 24

Mrs. Carol Snyder is our foreign language teacher. In ad- dition to teaching Spanish I and II, she teaches English III and Business English. She is a sponsor of the Black and Gold and a Spanish Club sponsor. She enjoys arranging flowers and being with her family. Mrs. Sthreshley, with a B.S. from Maryville College and an M.A. from Presbyterian School of Christian Education, is teaching science. She is a senior sponsor and enjoys playing bridge and cooking. Mr. Jerry Strickland is our boys' Physical Education teach- er. He received a B.S. from the University of Tampa. He is assistant football coach and head track coach. His hobby is playing golf.
