Head Hilltopper for the season ' s precision performances was Pat Wells. y-m- In Deca-deSightful Brigade, Pom-pom Girls Rallied Fans Trapped out in a pak of powder-puff shakers and a lilting smile, hand-in-hand with a formula for fun. a chorus of beauties called The Hill- toppers pleased fans and fellow Raiders this sea- son during home athletic events. Pulling pom- pon duty, the double quintet provided spectators with a continual display of marching, maneuver- ing, jumping, si ghing, crying, giggling and wiggling to foster a contagious attitude of merri- ment for the moment. Not confined to the side- lines. The Hilltoppers were generally fcimd where the action was. In addition to participating at football and basketball contests, this pompon squad aided lettermen in 1966 by rallying cair- pus support for the Christmas party attend joyously by the children of Santa ' Eita.
