Club Sponsors Gala Pan American Day “4 COMO ESTA USTED?” That cute girl in your first hour class flashes a winning smile at you and makes this strange sound. What do you suppose she’s trying to accomplish? Why, she’s a member of Spanish Club who is trying to display her lingual talents by inquiring about your health! Spanish Club is composed of Lauderdale High students who are interested in the Spanish language and culture. Their aim is to promote greater interest in Spanish and to create better understanding between the United States and Spanish speaking countries. In April they presented a Pan-American Dance and Pan-American Day, both of which were a tremendous success for the school’s Spanish enthusiasts. The Spanish Club holds a high position in the school because of the interest of its members in all the Spanish speaking countries of the world. The Norland Bull is killed aboard the Spanish Club float during this year’s Homecoming Parade. On the float are Barbara Pritchard and Steve Teeter.
