THE WHEEL WHIRL Gil Bartlett and Roger Bond give the bookcases and the wall a new look. The Wheel Club solves the L.H.S. parking problem. MR. DANIEL LEE The membership of the Wheel Club is made up of boys from the 9th through the 12th grades. The motto is Service above Self. The main purpose of the club is to promote and encour- age leadership in Ft. Lauderdale High School, but community service is also stressed. The club, which is sponsored by Rotary International, has as its main project the supervising of parking on the L.H.S. campus.

The National Thespian Society was created to promote the dra- matic arts in the high schools. It is an organization for students who are interested in some phase of dramatic arts. Membership may be gained by earning ten points determined on stage or behind-the-scene activities. Members of the Thespians Society work for the promotion of interest in all forms of drama in the high schools throughout the United States. Dene Hoots, Bili Betes, end Gil Bertlett work beckstege.
