KATHY SULLIVAN MISS CLAUDIA THOMAS MARGOT CROXTON Secretary Sponsor Treasurer The Anchor Club of Fort Lauderdale High School was organized on November 24, 1953. Anchor Club is a service club for girls in the sophomore, junior, and senior classes. The girls are chosen for scholarship, leadership, and the desire to help others. The club is sponsored by Pilot International of Fort Lauderdale. The school project for the year is to serve as a welcoming and guidance committee for new students who come into the school. Aiding the blind of Broward County is the community project chosen by the 31 charter members. The motto is For- ward ever — Backward never.
