LAETI ROMANI Membership in the Laeti Romani (Happy Romans) is open to all who are taking Latin or who have had two years of Latin. The purpose of the club is to gain a more thorough knowledge of Roman life, customs, and language and to understand better the practical and cultural value of Latin. The highlight of the year is the banquet, which members attend dressed in Roman costumes. The activities of the club, spon- sored by the Kiwanis, include patrolling areas around school during lunch hour, publishing the Student Directory, selling pep tags, and giving Kuder Vocation- al Preference Tests.
