Federate Take Speed And Aim Can you imagine a club in which you spend your rime racing? This was rhe Motorcycle Club and rhey procriced on rhe weekends. Mosr of rhe club ' s rime was spenr in organi- zorion rrying ro find a sponsor and a legal place ro ride rheir mororcycles. Mr Gerber, rhe sponsor, pur rhe presidenr Don Suggs and rhe vice- presidenr Kevin Lake ro work. These officers rried ro reach rhe resr of rhe riders skill bur wirh safety The club is nor school sponsored so rhey hod a hard rime meeting riders from other schools When all rhe reams did meer, ir was greor fun and some of rhe riders come our wirh trophies. Wrapping up another winning season, rhe Federal ' s Rifle Club had a very exciting year This year was known as rheir rebuild mg year. Wirh rheir regular hor shots Day Sloneno and Jeff Hoffman, rhe club made a respectable showing within rhe Northern Virginia High School Rifle League. Wirh new standout shooters, Dave Hoyle, Tom Hem- ricks, Don Bowman, Sean Connolly and Tom Mengenhauser coming on strong, rhe club is looking forward ro an even berrer season nexr year.
