A Dream Come True For Princesses 12 Exciremenr filled rhe air as Homecoming halftime approached The band was getting ready for their performance The cars, chauffering rhe princesses, were ready to go The buzzer sounded and it was half- time Anticipation and suspense were in rhe air. As rhe floats and convertibles drove by, rhe smiles seemed to broaden. The crowd was breathless, as each hoped for his favor¬ ite candidate The students had taken a great deal of rime selecting just rhe right girl to represent them. The girl they had chosen was someone who was nor only pretty, but also someone who had contributed to their group or organization The announcement sounded throughout rhe entire stadium . . . rhe Homecoming Queen for 1979 is Chrys- tianne Williams. She was surrounded by all of rhe other princesses as she received her bouquet and her crown from rhe 1978 Homecoming Queen, Cathy Williams.
