A crisp autumn day kept Homecoming spirit alive Spirit Week 1976 culminated on Friday, October 22, with the homecoming parade in the afternoon and the football game that night against Lee, which Fort Hunt won. The big event of the evening was the halftime activities. All of the princesses were eager to find out who whould become queen and students were anxious to find out which classes won prizes for their hall and float. Clockwise from bottom left: Alison delaHaba was seen clowning around at the parade. Friday ' s Homecoming Parade was led by the Marching Band. Amy Ransom cud¬ dles up with one of the Feds on the Sophomore float. Chris Normyle hams it up as a Keystone Cop. Byron Burt is all set to blast Lee. Black Cultural Alliance gives the score on their float. The drama float recaptures the image of Mercel Marceau. 16
