From judging gorgeous legs to raffling off Varsity Cheerleaders with their lunch baskets, Homecom¬ ing 1976, coordinated by Mrs. Goodman, was in¬ deed a spirited week for the Federals. During the event filled days, Mickey and Minnie Mouses, Wonder Women, Clowns, Monsters, and many cartoon favorites wandered through the halls and occasionally into a classroom. The gym lobby was transformed into a spook house. Freshman hall became McDonald Land, junior hall sported the circus, and Sophomore hall featured nursery rhymes. Many students attended a pep rally on Friday, and the same afternoon, at the parade, movie makers, Loonie Tunes, and many others represented the theme of Entertainment. Homecoming festivities were topped off with a football victory over Lee on Friday night, and fol¬ lowed up on Saturday night with the traditional Homecoming dance. Clockwise from top: The Drill Team skillfully marches down Waynewood Boulevard; The Band performs for the gathering spectators; Pam Fisher shows us her other side; MGM cameraman zooms in on parade passing by; Homecoming participants anxiously await the beginning of the parade. 12
