Seniors at work and play FUTURE Wonufs BECKON linder the guidance of Miss Kathleen Cum- hee and Mr. Carl Ritchie. the Seniors plan their lifels work for the future world which lieckons to them. Following several class meetings, the motto HNothing succeeds as well as suecessf' the flower. the white rose: and the colors, light liluc and white were selected. The class then planned its activi- ties to provide creative, dramatic and social opportunities for every member. Across the footlights of the earth the sen- iors presented a mystery, 6'The Towerf' as their play of the year. 6'I'Ieat Lightning was their entry in the play tournament. The I Speak for Deniocracyl' contest and the outstanding actress were won by two versa- tile seniors. Sweet music. voices of happiness, and soft lights reflected the beautiful colors of the senior prom. Vllith the accomplishment of their various activities and scholastic duties. each senior closed his book to go out into a world of his own.
