Nursing and Biological Science Have Strong Staffs The 12-year-old nursing division, one of the newest programs of study on campus, was established by Leona Stroup, who is still head of its staff. 1 though its faculty is small in number, the division has an enviable record in that none of its students lias ever failed to pass a slate hoard nursing examination. Student nurses serve affiliations in Chicago, Topeka, Denver, Norton and Hays, The preservation of grasslands, plant and animal life is of par- ticular importance to the Great Plains area, l ruler such experts as Dr. Gerald Tomanek and his associates, graduates in biological science have excelled in this field and have gone on to a variety of positions.
