FOREWORD Reflecting is a pastime in which all of us indulge. Memories are personal impressions; each private reflection is as individual as the person to which it belongs. However, memories frequently become dim and indistinct with the passing of time. Names are forgotten; yesterday’s events are slighted in anticipation of the future. This hook is designed in the manner of all yearbooks — to help you, the reader, remember. Pictures and words have been selected to make your memories more distinct. The Reveille strives to provide a glimpse of the things that were Fort Hays State during the year. We of the staff hope that the I960 Reveille will cast permanent reflections of the highlights and the sidelights of your college life. 4
