Tillte Selensky and Ray Eaton were crowned as the hon- ored 1957 queen and king of the Sweetheart ball. Spon- soring organizations were Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity and Alpha Sigma Alpha sorority. Decorated with gay cupids and colorful hearts, the February affair featured Dave Emery and his Starlighters dance band. Master of ceremonies Galen McClain introduced the candidates and announced the winners chosen by popular student vote. Performing the coronation duties was Ronald Miller, last year ' s king.
