The success of the anniversary celebration was due principally to the fact that so many early cay students returned to join In the festivities. Chat PIcken, son of William S. Picken, the first principal of the school, came from Loveland, Colorado. Two of the college ' s three first graduates, were back for the celebration. They were Mrs. Fredetla Schwaller Trlnkle, LaJolla, California, and Fred E.
