This project was chosen to aid the group in understanding the dance recital given in January by Miss Ruth Page. DUCK CLUB This group meets once a week — partly for fun, with games and stunts — and partly with a serious motive, since some in the group are working for American Red Cross Water Safety and Life-Saving Certificates. 27

THERE’S MUSIC IN THE AIR Each listener is carried through a mist of memories as if by blended voices out of the past. • • • Director William Hugh Miller and the Women’s Chorus made their first public performance this year at the Kansas State Teachers’ Association. At the Christmas Vespers, the Chorus was obscured from view, allowing only its melodies to reach the consciousness of its audience.
