GIRLS’ SPORTS The girl athletes of Fort Hays have participated in and sponsored intramurals, a rummage sale, and an all-school carnival this year. ORCHESIS The Orchesis group worked on a project during the fall semester, using poetry as an accom- paniment instead of music. This project was chosen to aid the group in understanding the dance recital given in January by Miss Ruth Page. DUCK CLUB This group meets once a week — partly for fun, with games and stunts — and partly with a serious motive, since some in the group are working for American Red Cross Water Safety and Life-Saving Certificates. 27
