Like wanderers from far and wide, Fort Hays Alumni return each fall to retrace once more the steps of their college clays. Welcomed by the King and Queen, the graduates are entertained by the students and faculty for the dura lion of their stay. The 1941 festivities were opened with a stunt contest on Friday, October 17, followed by a Little Theater production of “Tom Cobb. ' ' Ibis year, Theta Sigma Upsilon sorority won first place. Homecoming and High School Band Day coincided. Eight high school bands led the homecoming parade Saturday afternoon, and two were chosen to perform between halves of the football game that night. All of the organized houses were eligible to enter the house decoration contest which was held Saturday morning. Phi Delta Chi fraternity placed lirst in this contest. The Pittsburg Gorillas defeated the I igers 26 to 0 in the annual homecoming game held at Lewis Field Saturday night. After the game, Clinton Keller.
