I he Seventh Cavalry was organized six years ago by the Student Council as a local honorary leadership fraternity. Membership in this organization is limited to fifteen boys who have excelled in leadership, service, character, and scholarship. When a vacancy occurs, new candidates, to be admitted, mus: carry a unanimous vote of the fraternity I he members are best known lor their work in publishing and selling the Delator, student directory. With the proceeds they grant a one semester scholarship to one of its members Other activities are also carried on by this group 1 he officers are J. D Sharp, president: Ansel Tarrant, secretary treasurer, and Standlee V Dalton, sponsor. T E II I II I S T E I ' II , IN 1 1 S : I he students who are interested in engineering have banded together to form the En gineer s Club. In their weekly meetings they discuss the problems of engineering and the possibilities of entering the field as a life s protession Active participation in preparing the clubs programs is required of every member. For their formal programs there is usually presented a report on some particular question concerning modern engineering projects. Membership of the Engineering Club consists of students who are majoring in engineer ing or those who are particularly interested in such an organization.
