5 Greetings: As another school year nears a close, it brings to our realization that some are com- pleting their high school work. It has been a great pleasure to be associated with such a group of fine boys and girls found in this book. As the curtain drops on the high school days for you seniors and many of our close associations cease, may this 1955 Tiger serve in the months and years ahead to refresh your memories of the pleasant years in Fort Gibson high school. May this book be a reminder of the high ideals, which your faculty directed you and may you continue to be inspired to a richer and well spent Iife. During that time your experiences have been varied--you have tasted the bitter with the sweet--but it seems that you have well understood that such is lite and the way in which'you have taken the bad with the good is very com- mendable. I I have never associated with a group where leadership qualities and Christian principles were more prevalent. The exam- ples you have set in these two fields are beyond reproach.
