DEOICA TtON In recognition of his retirement, this SIREN is dedicated to Mr, Mullen. A 1944 graduate of FEHS, Mr. Mullen began his teaching career in Hartford in 1950, but his love of local history brought him to FE in 1955 to teach junior high social studies for the next eighteen years. From there he has held the following positions: AV director; curriculum supervisor; principals of the middle school and the elementary school; district and high school principal; and in 1982, superintendent. Under his direction a new wing was added to the high school, as well as a music room, a gym station, and the remodeling of our classrooms. Also, being an avid sports fan, he took many football movies, helped develop a championship ski team, coached junior high football and even varsity baseball. We know the future will be exciting for him with his interests in traveling, the activities of the Lions Club and the Idle Hour Club, and drum corps competitions. The entire school thanks him for his years of service to FEHS and wish him and his wife the best of years in retirement. MR. CHARLES T. MULLEN District Superintendent J.H. TODD. AND MARYELLEN MOST MUSICAL BRUNO AND JULIE BEST DRESSED RICH AND HEATHER FAVORITES MOST ATHLETIC ADAM AND MARYELLEN CLACC PROPHECY The class of 88“ recently had their 15 year reunion at the grand opening of HUBBA'S restaurant and hotel. The reunion was organized by HEATHER NACEY. For the first act of the night, MIKE RIENDEAU, performed his opera singing act, along with back-up dancers JIM CHANDLER and NICOLE ROBICHAUD. As the night progressed and the class got together, everyone learned who was doing what. Class President, BILL MYLOTT, admired by everyone, was explaining about his newly remodeled million-dollar mansion. Bill's servants, ZABA and CLYDE, were just bailed out of jail. DAN LEWZA recently back from Poland was successful in meeting the Pope and changing the country to a democracy. Also coming back from overseas were General PAT CLAY of the U.S. Army and BRUNO ST. JOHN, alter-boy of the year in Germany. There were many athletes at the reunion. RICH AIKEN was telling everybody about Michigan basketball and his string of 200 straight games without a miss. STEVE IVES took over as head basketball coach for his father at Fort Edward High School. JULIE CATONE and MARYELLEN HAMMOND are currently trying to make the women's Olympic Volleyball team for the third time. TODD TYLER, now a professional skier and MATT CONLON, professional body builder, are doing very well. ADAM SMITH, plays outfield for the California Angels and is part owner of the Dallas Cowboys. BEN MILLER, recently became a star running back in the NFL. STEVE MORENCY has taken Goose Gossage's position as relief pitcher, and JAKE OSGOOD is the new champion of the three point shot for the Boston Celtics. The women of the class of 88“ do a number of things. KRISTEN MCKINNEY, who is the best vet in the world, recently did Dan Lewza a favor by performing eye surgery on his dog. Dan's dog can now see! DENISE DIRESTA and MARYBETH DOTY are partners in a Beauty Salon which offers both tanning, instructed by Marybeth and hair coloring by Denise. KIM VANAERNEM AND KELLY MORGAN are using Denise's technique by trying to get everyone to change their hair color to red. AMY VARNEY works in the editing room of As The World Turns. TAMMY PAGANA could not be present at tonight's festivities due to a sudden illness. KAREN BAIRD was also unable to attend because of careless driving which resulted in a parking lot pile up when she tried to get a parking spot from another lady. ANN RYAN is a star chef at her own restaurant on a deserted island. JACKI JOHNSTON went to Washington and got lost but made it back in time for the reunion. ANNETTE JORDAN is a famous rock star, and MARY CARPENTER is a sales representative for Avon. We caught up with TORI SIMPSON just as she was about to leave for another party, she said this one was to mellow. Now for the guys of the class of 88 . BOB REA and BRIAN SMITH are living in Florida with their wives and children. COREY TAYLOR is water boy for the Washington Redskins. TOM CUSICK was arrested for literaly picking up cars, but was bailed out by his lawyer KEVIN BENNETT. SCOTT CARPENTER has invested in a toupee and is growing a cactus. BOB PECUE is a guest speaker for students against Drunk Driving, although none of the kids can understand a word he says. FRANK REGNER finally opened a new store in Ethiopia, that sells Milky Ways. PETE MCMURRAY is still trying to master the English language. NEIL FERRY is currently looking for money to pay off his gambling debts. MATT BOUCHER and JOE CARPENTER are busy taking care of the plumbing problems at Hubba's restaurant. The night ended abruptly with a major food fight. Hubba was furious at everyone and declared the next reunion be held somewhere else. No sooner was the food fight over, when a brawl broke out in the parking lot. All men and women were throwing punches until TODD COLVIN arrived on the scene with a machine gun in hand. The damage was estimated at 2 million dollars, and before leaving everyone decided that the 25th year reunion would be held at TAMARA DALEY'S house. That should be an interesting evening. 34 WE'LL NEVER FORGET Moe's Rocky imitation Hanging out at Nicole's Bowling with Homer Marybeth and Karen's road trips Julie and doughnuts and Denise with paperbags JEM'S early morning wake up call That good birthday SWAMP night and Maryellen's missing shoe Three years of 4th period in the Home Ec. room The cops, the hill, the fence.
