LASARSO The Class of 1987 would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Mr. Nicholas Lasarso. He is always willing to help a student, give advice or just be a friend. He is the M M King of FEHS. We will always remember him and the things he has done for us throughout our high school years. Thank You!, Mr. Lasarso! 3 IN APPRECIATION MRS. HOLLY MABB We would like to show our appreciation to one of the newest faces around F.E.H.S., Mrs. Holly Mabb. Mrs. Mabb was a godsend to the students. She is like a breath of fresh air around school. We will always remember everything she has done for us in the short time that we have known her. Through the years at F.E.H.S., we hear how tough it is working on the Yearbook, but this year we got to see first hand how really tough it is. We are proud of our final product and hope that you will be too. Though the staff didn't number quite as many as we would have liked, the people we did have did an excellent job. CLASS PROPHECY The ten year reunion of the Class of '87 was as predicted, quite strange. The reunion was supposed to be held at the home of Larry Hotmer. the new drummer for Led Zeppelin following the death of John Bonham. The illustrious event was catered by lulie Cheenev with her world class submarines, and by Todd Gillis who is the head salad man at Felipe's Diner. Beverages were provided by Deanna Rabine and Sharon Caputo. the owners of Anheuser-Bush. The entertainment was supplied by Albert Nolette. who recently reunited the Blues Brothers. He produced their new album The Return of Jake and Elwood, with A1 on lead vocals. Kathy Varnev. the new wave recording star, blessed us with her version of Rollie Pollie Fish Heads. The background scenery was provided by Carol Schaff. currently a world class artist. We were delighted with stories told bvRav Lacque. a Fashion consultant for Billy Idol and Mick Jagger. Dave Mannev talked of his life with the Harlem Globetrotters. As they evening progressed, 1 ill Carpenter, a prize winning demolition derby driver, arrived with a bang. Luckily, her auto mechanic, Sue Fischer was on the spot. After a momentary visit from barhopper Stacey Ernst, we all had the pleasure of getting a group photo by Tim Collier, the lead photographer for Playboy. Autographs were signed by two famous novelists; Amy Bennett, the author of a long line of criticism novels and Colleen Currie, the author of the best seller How to Hold and Control Your Liquor. Then actress April Shaw, currently starring in the revised TV sitcom Green Acres , dropped in briefly. Becky Ogden, who models her feet for the Ford Modeling Agency, displayed her various poses and was forced to put her shoes on due to the intense odor. Toward the end of the evening, we were all saddened by the passing on of our close friend, Dave DeCamilla. While visiting Deanna and Sharon, he exploded while trying to drink a full vat through a funnel. Shelly Gilman. a marriage counselor for star-crossed-lovers, comforted his wife. As for the business world, our class produced many successes. Bob Dobroski manufactures the Robbie Roski laundry detergent. Kim Bartholomew built an empire manufacturing drunk-out pills. Mike Colvin and Colleen Healey are computer operators for IBM. Mary Donahue, a Nova dealer, couldn't understand why nobody would buy her product. Many of our former classmates were unable to attend. Ian Osgood was all tied up at Comstock and Dan A'Angelico was in the same boat due to some public indiscretions. Bill Cummings, who is a New Skete Monk, had taken a vow of silence. Bob Phillips was busy at his fast food restaurant headquarters. Craig Morris was currently traveling with the professional bowlers tour. Ion Brockwav was tied up at Bellview along with his companion Mike Roberts; they were committed for worshipping their cars. Rich Hafner is now selling matching bicycles to married couples. Collin Huntington had taken Mike Ditka's job as head coach for the Chicago Bears. The can-nappers, Melanie Henry and Kristie Trombley stole all of the cans. They are living in an old Honda Civic with their only source of income being bottle returns. We were also glad to hear from lackie Adams who is employed as a driver education instructor. We were informed thatDan-ielle Bemis is still roaming the halls of F.E.H.S. and that Hugh Phillips is still looking for the school. We were also presented with the news that Walter Winchell is M.I.A. in a foreign country. Penny Schaff told of her adventures on Wall Street. At the end of the evening, curfew tickets were issued to all by Fort Edward Police Chief, Mary Kav Cornell. 71 V A R S I T Y V O L L E Y B A L Standing: April Shaw, Denise Harrington, Mary Kary Cornell, Stacey Ernst, Julie Catone, Mary Elian Hammond, | Tricia Tyler, Coach Collier. Most of the pitching staff contained sophomores at that time, and they did a fine job against opposing batters. We see Fort Edward baseball taking a turn for the better this year on the arms of these spirited lads. These pitchers are not without good defensive support led by this years juniors and seniors to back them up.
