CLASS HISTORY FALL '75-As we started our first year at FEHS, we quickly adjusted to high school life by electing as officers: PJ Gray, President; Jeff Gorham, Vice-President; Theresa Sheehan, Secretary; Melissa Mullen, Treasurer; and Student Council members - Carl Bates, Karen Strain, Jeff Pelkey, Mary Taylor, Diane Heil and Ed Wood. We held a dance and collected dues. In June, we held a picnic at Kaydeross. FALL '76-We headed into our sophomore year with enthusiasm. First, we selected the same officers: PJ , Theresa, Jeff and Melissa. Class projects included dances as well as ordering class rings. In June, we went to Lake George for our annual picnic. FALL '77-Looking forward to getting our rings and working on the prom, we started our junior year on a high note. As leaders, we had Tom Konopka, President; Mike Esperti, Vice-President; Theresa Sheehan, Secretary; and Melissa Mullen, Treasurer. During the football season, we ran the concession stand which was hard work but a lot of fun as we sold hot dogs, candy, soda, pizza, etc. Our rings arrived in the fall, and we were not disappointed in them. To raise money for the prom, we held some dances and sold candy. In November, we started planning for the prom by selecting Ed Wood and Diane Heil as co-chairmen. With the theme Pieces of April, we ordered supplies and held flower parties. After t months of preparation and hours of decorating, we changed the gym into our creation of springtime. With the music of Double Axle, the event was successful. Reigning as King and Queen were Mike Esperti and Diane Heil with their court consisting of: Jeff Gorham and Darlene Cusick; Ed Wood and Melissa Mullen; Tom Konopka and Annine O'Sick; PJ Gray and Theresa Sheehan; Carl Bates and Karen Strain; Mike D'Angelico and Mary Taylor. The crown bearers were Jo-Jo Volpe and Lisa Broderick who substituted for Angela Esperti when she got stage fright at the last minute. After the prom, a buffet dinner was held at Mike's Fireside Restaurant. Later, prom parties were plentiful. The next day, a picnic was held at the Lake George Battlegrounds. All in all, the year was busy as well as successful. FALL '78-After a hard working, fun-filled junior year, we began our last year at FEHS looking forward to open campus and graduation. As officers, we elected: Tom Konopka, President; Ed Wood, Vice-President; Theresa Sheehan, Secretary; and Melissa Mullen, Treasurer. After five weeks of being on probation, we received open campus privileges. To increase our treasury, we collected the remaining dues, sponsored a few dances and during the basketball games, we operated the concession stand. Plans for the year included the following: ordering announcements, caps and gowns; having a senior outing; attending the Alumni Banquet; and finally, graduation on June 24th. As in the past, the class financed and published the SIREN with Ed Wood and Kati Collier as co-editors. ycl ft Looking back over the past four years, we realize that a lot has been accomplished as we have matured. We know that this could not have happened without the help of our administrators and teachers, particularly our advisors: Mr. Broderick; Mr. Adams; Mrs. Bombard; Mr. Lewza; Mrs. Hardick and especially our close friend Mr. Salem 4 20
