A teacher helps to mold a generation, giving them answers and reasons for believing. He must be their understanding friend and, at times, he should even be one of them. For only then can he build on yesterday, adapt to the requirements of today, and prepare for the promise of tomorrow.

EDITOR-IN-CHIEF Peter Williams ASSISTANT EDITOR Mary Cassant Pressed roses bloom, The songs resume as once we heard them play... Ah, Memory, the miracle Of yesterday Today! -Michaels- EDITOR-IN-CHIEF Maureen Buckley EDITORS' MESSAGE The purpose of this yearbook is to capture those moments of high school days which will become ever more precious as time progresses. The Press Club has attempted to tell the story of FEHS in 1976-77 on these few pages. However, it is impossible to include all those activities, stirred-up emotions, and personal accomplishments and downfalls which are an everyday occurrence in these years of youth and growth. Before we take you back into the year gone past, we would like to thank our parents and teachers; our patrons and advertisers; Miss Mulcahy, Mr. Mullen, Mr. O'Brien and Mr. Sanford for their help in photography. Also, special thanks go to Mrs. Crum for assisting us in typing; Mr. Durling for his excellent photography and patience; and Mr. Brady. Last, we would like to express our appreciation to Mr. LaSarso, our advisor, for his guidance throughout the year. We hope your journey back through the year is filled with pleasant memories.
