I HISTORY OF THE IUNIOR CLASS Upon entering its first year in high school, the class ot '41 elected Robert Conley as president, Iohn Quattrocchi, vice presidentg Ieannette Clarke, secretary and Elsie Davies, treasurer. During the Sophomore year, Iohn Vines was chosen president, Robert Conely, vice president, Gerald Murphy, secretary: and Lenora Doty, treasurer. The first Iunior class meeting was opened by Mrs. Munson, one of the class advisers. Iohn Vines was again elected president, Robert Conley, vice presidentg Betty Bowe, secretaryg and Elsie Davies, treasurer. Iohn Dur- kin and Thomas Sullivan were chosen to represent the class in the Student Council. The class colors ot blue and gold were selected and the class ring with traditional school crest were ordered. The outstanding social events of the lunior class were the social and a candy sale after the Whitehall football game, October 12, the lunior Card Party and Dance May 10 and the lunior Prom, May 24. This year as Sophomores the class had a Halloween Dance in the gym. In February it was decided that each member should bring twenty-five cents a month to start saving for the Washington trip.
