Council Represents Thirty-Five Homerooms The council had twelve active standing com- mittees. The public relation's committee was developed this year. The members of this committee participated in round table discus- sions at P.T.A. programs. This committee also conducted the Junior Red Cross and Polio drive. The first semester officers were Anne Nord- mark, President, Emerson Bodell, Vice Presi- dent, Bob Higgins, Secretary. The second semester officers were Emerson Bodell, Presi- dent, Maurine Thorson, Vice President, and Judy Nelson, Secretary. All members ofthe council were repsonsible for maintaining good school citizenship. The council was democratic school life in action.
